DAS currently provide Select & Protect policyholders with a variety of legal expenses cover and assistance ranging from 24 hour advice lines, employment disputes, domestic contract disputes, emergency home assistance to recovering rent arrears on a let property.

Based in Bristol and Bedwas, South Wales DAS has become one of the UK's leading specialist insurers and, as a result, provides access to justice for more than 10 million policy holders.

The company gross premium income is now over £100 million due to the development of extensive range of legal protection products, 24 hour helplines and insured assistance products. DAS UK employs over 500 staff in 5 locations throughout the UK.

DAS UK is an authorised and regulated Insurance Company and member of the ABI. The company underwrites all its own insurance products, setting the terms, rates and covers which are appropriate to the risk.

DAS is part of the larger ERGO group which in turn is owned by Munich Re.
